Favorite Quotes:

“Gypsy speaks very little, and when he does, it’s usually one or two words.  To get an entire sentence out of him is rare and held as a precious gift to treasure.”

“’This is yours,’ he presses his hand harder to mine, explaining without words what he means.  His heart is mine.”

“If I had to pick between wolves or my mother, I’d choose wolves every time.”

“He doesn’t know me well enough to love me.  Trust me, he couldn’t handle all this.  I’m a big bag of crazy.”

“It all felt like an adult episode of Little Rascals mixed with a healthy dose of The Jerry Springer Show.”

My Review:

Until a few days ago, I had not read Bink Cummings.  I have since binged on over 700 pages of Volumes 1-3 of her semi-autobiographical Diary, and have enjoyed each and every word.  All were well done and highly entertaining as she has an interesting voice and style, but she really hit her groove in the last one.  Her writing is absorbing, full of humorous asides, and is all engrossing.  Her characters are well defined and interestingly described in a colorful and captivating manner.  I could not put my kindle down.  She has squeezed my heart, had me gasping for breath, and actually devastated me several times in the process.  Bink’s story is action packed with angst, family drama, brutality, erotic sensuality, and painful honesty.  Volume 3 was practically non-stop drama as this ferociously passionate and stubborn couple found themselves dealing with a host of problems and ultimately in need of brutally stripping themselves bare - physically and emotionally - to move forward in their relationship.  I most enjoyed seeing the transformation of her rough and commanding Neanderthal biker, being softened up into a supportive and insightful love machine.  Sigh… my life suddenly seems so bland and boring by comparison.
