Review:

Have you ever connected with a character so strongly, that when you read about them it can calm you down? 

Well I have, in fact when this happens I tend to latch on to these characters. Put them on my shelf and reread the books later when I need a shoulder. I know, I know, you might be thinking I am crazy right now. But I am not, these are the feelings you can get when a author does an amazing job making the character feel like they are real. Reason why I am bringing this up, is because this is how I feel about Ashe's characters. 

I feel like I could call them friends, even though I have only read two of these books. This book follows My Delicate Destruction. As a second book, this story is perfect. It gives you more details about the main character, along with learning more of the plot and the other characters as well. 

Would it be wrong if I made Jillian Ashe one of my favorite authors? Because she is heading there fast.

Meet J. A. Huss

J. A. Huss likes to write new adult books that make you think and keep you guessing. Her favorite genre to read is space opera, but since practically no one reads those books, she writes new adult science fiction, paranormal romance, contemporary romance, urban fantasy, and books about Junco (who refuses to be saddled with a label).

Book Review:

I myself am a large fan of the Victorian time, and I do love books where past lives are uncovered, I find that to be one of the most interesting topics to throw into a novel, and this book just happens to encompass both of these things. Madow has most definitely earned my respect as an author with this work. She has created characters who you will feel a connection with. I shared in their pain and their joy, my heart quickened as they are thrust into certain scenarios, and I found it very difficult to put the work down.

This book has several plot twists, and in all honesty, I saw none of them coming which just heightened my excitement to plow through the rest of the book. There are times where you are sure you know something before the other characters, and sometimes you do and sometimes you don’t, but the excitement of finishing this book actually took a few days to wear off of me. Madow has crafted a story of love, past loss, possible future loss, risk taking, past lives, and present pain. Just a little bit of everything that fits just so well together.

This book is a great first installment in what is sure to quite an amazing series. I would recommend that you grab a copy and see for yourself what I am talking about.

Get Ready For The Apocalypsis (Apocalypis - Elle Casey)

Alone, it might have been possible; but now I've got company. I'm worried that I don't have what it takes to get from here to my final destination. And I have no idea what might be waiting for me when I get there.

Book Review:     The world has come to end for all those between the ages of 10 and 20, while the rest have found their solace in death. Now those who are left must fend for themselves and some have become desperate, desperate enough to eat anything. I have to say, this book blew me away. With action, humor and a small hint at a possible romance I loved it. At every moment reading this book you were highly aware of everything going on in this book but nothing around you as you were pulled deeper and deeper into this sometimes fast paced plot. The characters were developed quite well, and as the book goes on you learn more about them.   

If you get pulled in as much as I did, you may want to be careful not to attack anyone that comes near you when you are reading thinking they are there to attack you. The plot and the story line kept me glued to my seat with my kindle in my hand at almost all times. The tension you felt like the characters did coursed through me as I read, I felt their pain and smiled as they joked along the way.

All In All:        Elle has once again rocked my world with another amazing cliff hanger (dang her and her cliff hangers). She has created a world that en wraps the reader into a place where we can only hope we don't end up. If you are into young adult post apocalyptic books that will keep you in your seat then you know you have to check out this book. I give this book a 4.5 stars!
