A Weekend of Misbehaving
by Carmen Falcone
Series: Time to Misbehave, #2
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: January 11, 2016
When fantasy becomes reality…
The last thing nanny Alice Sommers needs is to be caught skinny-dipping by her sexy, cranky-pants boss—in his pool. Her sister owes a crap-load of money to a slimy loan shark and Alice really needs this job if she has any hope of saving her family. Fortunately, her boss is richer than sin and needs her just as much.
Art dealer Lorenzo Baldi will lose his prestigious career if his anarchist father’s paintings are revealed to the art world. He’s determined to persuade the paintings’ eccentric owner to sell them to him, even if to pull it off, he’ll have to blackmail his daughter’s nanny—a woman with the sexy curves of a Botticelli masterpiece—into being his fake fiancĂ©.
The gorgeous island of Capri inspires some major misbehaving. But even as the loan shark breathes down Alice’s neck and the paintings move closer to the art scene, Lorenzo drops one more bomb that will change everything.

Favorite Quotes:
“Who knew
the janitor was a gossip? If she had,
she could have engaged in some interesting conversations with him about the
lady from 34A who spent lots of quality time with the chiseled pool boy. And Mrs. Trevor didn’t even own a pool.”
“I was going
to tell you, but then you were all horny like a man who was just released from
prison. I lost my train of thought… Hey,
I’m only human.”
“No amount
of daytime soap opera reruns could ever have prepared Alice for this.”
“Love? If a UFC champion had punched him in the gut,
he doubted he’d experience the same defenselessness.”
My Review:
A Weekend of Misbehaving is a fast-paced,
fun, and light read that provided an entertaining afternoon. The story moved quickly - before the end of the
first chapter, the main character was blind-sided by a loan shark, caught skinny-dipping
by her boss in his private pool, faked a serious relationship with said handsome
rich boss in front of his client, finagled a luxurious Italian vacation, and
committed blackmail. All before I had barely
begun to sip my Diet Dew! While the
story was fast moving and active, it was well paced and easy to follow. I enjoyed the comfortable writing style with
hits of humor, as well as the steamy love scenes and likable characters.

Carmen Falcone learned at an early age that fantasizing about fictional characters beats doing math homework any day. Brazilian by birth and traveler by nature, she moved to Central Texas after college and met her broody Swiss husband—living proof that opposites attract. She found in writing her passion and the best excuse to avoid the healthy lifestyle everyone keeps bragging about. When she’s not lost in the word of romance, she enjoys spending time with her two kids, being walked by her three crazy pugs, reading, catching up with friends, and chatting with random people in the checkout line.
