You've all met the children and Eleanora and Tom English…but how exactly did down-on-her luck waitress,Eleanora Watters, meet trust fund hottie, Tom English?
You won't want to miss this Christmas novel that tells the story of how Eleanora met Tom, while he was visiting Vail in the 1980s.
My Rating:
Favorite Quotes:
“Eleanora had
never been anyone’s first choice for anything.
How in the world did she find herself here – with a man who had,
literally, chosen her over diamonds
and gold?”
“His lips
twitched under his mustache because he loved the way she could be nervous one
moment, tender the next, and sassy as hell the moment after that.”
“And Tom,
who’d known his wife for less than a week, realized that love – a word he’d
been reluctant to use before now – didn’t ask for permission. Sometimes it just arrived. Fully formed.
And all you could do was hold on to it for dear life."
My Review:
I have said it
before and I can almost guarantee I will state it many more times - I adore
Katy Regnery. The hardest task I face in
reviewing her superbly written work is deciding on which favorite quotes to include,
as I always have several pages of them earmarked. Her books typically contain the magic formula
with all the ingredients that I highly desire… a HEA - check, sweet and steamy
love story – check, interesting and likable characters – check, wit and humor –
check, clever dialogue and banter – check, a well written story and interesting
plot line – check and check. And she
makes it seem oh so easy. I am hopelessly
addicted and already eagerly awaiting her next offering. I fall in love with her all over again with
each new book. I enjoyed the back and
forth timeline and learning how it all started, as well as the hidden tease of
where the English brother’s names had originated – very clever Ms.
Regnery!

About Katy Regnery
Katy Regnery, award-winning and Amazon bestselling author, started her writing career by enrolling in a short story class in January 2012. One year later, she signed her first contract for a winter romance entitled By Proxy.
Now a hybrid author who publishes both independently and traditionally, Katy claims authorship of the six-book Heart of Montana series, the six-book English Brothers series, and a Kindle Worlds novella entitled "Four Weddings and a Fiasco: The Wedding Date," in addition to the standalone novels, Playing for Love at Deep Haven and Amazon bestseller, The Vixen and the Vet.
The Vixen and the Vet is included in the charity anthology Hometown Heroes: Hotter Ever After, and Katy's novella "Frosted" will appear in the upcoming (Jan '15) anthology, Snowy Days Steamy Nights. Additionally, Katy's short story, "The Long Way Home" will appear in the first RWA anthology (Feb '15), Premiere.
Katy lives in the relative wilds of northern Fairfield County, Connecticut, where her writing room looks out at the woods, and her husband, two young children, and two dogs create just enough cheerful chaos to remind her that the very best love stories begin at home.
