So by now, I have read and reviewed a good number of Nina's books, mainly for two reasons: First - I love MC (Motorcycle Club) Romances. I mean come on... who doesn't love a hot hunk on a bike?  Second - I really love Nina's work. You could say that I am one of her big fans. 


To be able to read and review her work feels like a great honor.  Plus, she usually has a bunch of alpha male characters that I just swoon over. That said, this book did not disappoint with Devil. This big macho man was hotter than the flares of the sun. In fact, I think he is my favorite so far. Not only is he tough but he has a sweet and gentle side. The only reason I am not giving this book 5 stars is because unlike the previous books I have read from this author, I did not have the giddy and butterfly feeling I usually get. I really liked this book, but I am not in love with it. I am positive that other MC readers will find this book intriguing and the sex scenes were something that makes you feel the passion and chemistry between the characters.

Nitro torment is the second book in Nina Levine's Sydney Storm MC Series. Once again Nina has lived up to her name with this MC series.

I loved Nitro, he is that guy that every woman can love. Even though he is a bad boy with a rough shell you can see the side of him that is caring and compassionate. There is more than meets the eye with this man. He is drool worthy and a big muscle man with tattoos and an alpha male personality. I loved the chemistry between Nitro and Tatum, they were a perfect fit. After reading this book, I am totally hoping the next installment will be King's and Monroe's love story. Those two would be fun to read. But they may not end up together.

I look forward to reading more of Nina's up and coming books. I am a big fan of this author, and she hasn't disappointed me yet.

HERE'S A TASTE OF NITRO & TATUM


I sat next to him. I wasn’t sure why except that for the first time since I’d met him, he seemed like he needed someone. Even if it was just to sit with him. I stole a glance at his face. It was hard to find skin under all the dried blood. “I take it the other guy lost.”

He held my gaze for a long time before answering me. God, how I wondered what thoughts ran through Nitro’s mind. It felt like he either ran from them or got lost in them, but I wasn’t convinced he was often comfortable with them.Something we had in common. “That depends on your definition of winning.”

I didn’t need him to spell it out for me. And I didn’t push him for more. Instead, I walked into the bathroom. Locating a clean washer in the drawer, I wet it and walked back out to him. Standing in between his legs, I began the task of cleaning up his face.

This was something I knew well. My brother had often turned up on my doorstep in this state. Caring for him had always been my responsibility. How could it not be when his journey in life had been dictated by my own?

Nitro hissed when I accidentally pressed too hard on his cheek. His hand landed on mine and he halted my progress. “I can do this myself.”

I pulled my hand away from his face. “Yeah, you can, but I’m doing it, so just let me.”

“Always arguing with me,” he murmured, allowing me to go on.

I worked in silence and when I’d cleaned the blood from his face, I said, “I’m going to get some ice for your face. Wait here.”

I hurried down to the bar because I figured he had work to get back to and no time to waste. Kree loaded me up with ice and a towel to wrap it in. When I arrived back in his room, he was in the shower. He didn’t take longer than a few minutes and when he exited the bathroom wearing only a towel around his waist, I sucked in a breath at the magnificence of his body.

Nitro was a powerhouse of hard muscle that went hand-in-hand with his fearless warrior instincts. Standing before me, almost naked, his masculinity caught me off guard and a rush of desire hit me. My thoughts stalled and I momentarily forgot what I was doing. All I could focus on was the throbbing need deep in my core. A new hum filled my entire being, unlike anything I’d ever felt before.

Damn.

Shit.

No.

“You got ice?” His deep voice snapped me from my hypnosis.

“Ah… yeah,” I mumbled, shoving the towel with the ice in it at him, almost dropping it as I did so.

He frowned, his eyes searching mine. “You good, Vegas?”

Fuck, no, I wasn’t.

I was fucked.

Completely.

I nodded, swallowing hard. “I’m good.”

I was so far from good.

I wanted something I didn’t want to want.

I wanted him.

How the hell did my world turn in such a short space of time? What the fuck triggered that? Because whatever it was, I needed to un-trigger it.

He took the ice from me and turned to head back into the bathroom, grabbing clothes on the way. I was helpless to do anything but watch him walk away. My eyes stayed glued to the powerful muscles that built his back. And that ass.God, that ass. Even covered in a towel it was hard not to stare at.

I was so engrossed in his back and ass that he caught me off guard again when he dropped the towel and dressed without closing the bathroom door.

Fuck it, I was out. I yanked the bedroom door open and left as fast as I could. I needed to find a quiet corner and gather my thoughts. I needed to wipe everything that had just happened from my memory. Somehow, though, I suspected Nitro was not a man to ever be wiped from a woman’s memory.

I stand and move to him. His back muscles tense when I place my hand on his shoulder. “I want to get to know everything about you, Luke Hardy,” I say and he spins around to face me.

His eyes search mine. “You already know the important bits.”

“No, I don’t.” I rest my hand against his chest. “I don’t know the secrets you keep locked in here. They’re the important bits.”

His intake of breath is sharp and he wraps his hand around mine. His other hand slides around my waist and he pulls me close.

His deep voice vibrates along my skin, scattering goose bumps, while his eyes penetrate my soul. Those intense, green eyes of his will do it to me every time. They’ll cause me to forget everything I’ve ever said or thought and just cling to him for the ride.

He dips his face again and his mouth finds mine. The moment our lips connect sparks of desire burn through me. I’m so damn hot for him and I can’t control myself. I push my body hard against his and open my mouth to him.

He tastes like whiskey and I make a note to buy some just so I can remember this moment forever. I’ve never loved whiskey before, but it may just be my new favourite drink.

The best thing about reviewing a book for an author you already know and love is being familiar with their work, and when you pick up their new book, you just know you are going to love it too. Because let's be honest, you've already loved their previous work.


Nina Levine asked at the beginning of the book not to let out spoilers - so there really isn't a lot I can tell you for fear of letting something slip or giving anything away. But I can tell you how I felt about this book. When I started the book it was like sitting down with an old friend, I threw up my feet and dived in. I didn't stop reading until I was done. I loved Nina's new characters and the drama that follows them. OH - and the next alpha male Luke. OMG perfect book boyfriend.

Review:
Watch out! Havoc has come and knocked J and Nash outta the water! This Alpha Male is the best one yet! I am head over heels for this character, I loved him!

I have to be honest I didn't realize that Carla was Nash's sister until the book told me. At that moment I was jumping up and down yelling OMG! I feel like a complete ditz for not noticing sooner. 

Carla and Havoc are a great couple. I bonded with Carla over her issues with her father. What we know is he left before she was born, leaving her and her family in the middle of the night. Now that didn't happen to me, but my dad was never around. Broken promises and phone calls full of lies. It wasn't until I graduated High School that he attempted to be part of my life. A little to late. Yeah?

This couple helps each other get through  the hard times they are going through. They are supportive of each other as well.  I was kinda in a bleh mood with the HEA. But I still loved the book, especially since I connected with Carla.

Review:

When I see the name Nina Levine, I know she is an author that writes great MC Romances. If you are like me you think that MC books are a genre by themselves instead of them being in the contemporary romance category. I had no idea she wrote books outside of the MC life. So to learn about it was pretty exciting. To read another kind of book from her was amazing.

 I've always had a thing for rock stars and Jett is a guy I could crush on. I mean that mouth. DAMN... LOL This book just jumps right into the sex and rockin' roll. This only thing I was sad about, was the fact it was such a short book. I wish it was longer, this is just something to tease you with. A book to pull you and leaves you wanting more. The characters are hot, sexy and ready to roll.

 You have me hooked Nina. I can't get enough!
