Book review:

Sometimes it's hard to continue a series. The magic runs out after book 1 and the series isn't really going anywhere but they're trying to make it work. Like making more movies in a series cuz it did so good, seems like a good idea but you probably shouldn't had done it. This is most definitely NOT the case with this sequel. All my favorite characters are back and causing more mayhem while they're growing up and changing. Things fall apart, put back together, the tape wears down and things fall apart again, the waves are washing on shore and then back out. I absolutely LOVED this book. With twists and turns that kept me on my toes I was fighting the waves to keep reading, to know how it ends because I was hungering for it. Sometimes things don't work out to well, carnivals get scrapped, boyfriends don't treat you right, and the waves try to claim what is theirs. It doesn't matter because even though the waters are rough it can't last forever. The ending made me squeal and then I got mad because I don't have book 3. I've enjoyed reading the series immensely so far and I expect great things to come for out characters as we continue their story.

Mystery guy is no mystery here, though – he's Colby Taylor, the west coast's biggest professional surfer. 

If Haley wants to talk to the wave rider again, she'll have to get past his four intimidating bodyguards who are highly skilled in the business of sending starstruck fangirls back to where they belong. Haley is up for the challenge if it means chasing her dreams and escaping the perfectly corporate future that's been planned for her. But dealing with these bodyguards isn't exactly what Haley imagined it'd be. Sure, being thrown off a jet ski sucks, but falling in love with one of them might just be worse.

Book review:

I've always wanted to surf. A few years back I read a book about a wannabe surfer chick and I found a love for those kind of books. But never have I found one I loved more, that bumped past my insanely large love for paranormal books and all my other favorites, like chasing forever down. Right from the beginning I grasped onto the tiny thread of magic in this book, and rode it like a wave as it got bigger bad bigger. I fell in love with the characters along with way, with their humor and wit and hard headedness. A storyline with little twists I wasn't expecting, a story that captured me with every word, chasing forever down has become one of my top ten favorite books of all time. Which says a lot considering how many books I've read so far in life. It's not just a book about someone finding their forever, it's a book that inspires you to find your own forever. Chase it down, don't let it get away, and you just might find forever is better than you expected. I know one thing for certain now, I'm not giving up on my forever now. And I just might be going down to Cali ;)
